Resurrection of Our Lord Parish was lit up with twinkling lights and colorful parols as Msgr. Manny Gabriel celebrated the first day of both the Simbang Gabi on December 15 at 9:30 p.m. and Misa de Gallo on December 16 at 4:30 a.m. In his homily, our pastor asked the faithful to pray for the following during the novena masses: a personal encounter with the Lord; peace in the family; and respect for the dignity of the human person, including the poor, the marginalized, and even those found guilty of crimes. The nine-day liturgical celebrations are held in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary in joyful anticipation of Christmas.
